Nominal Roll & Obituary Lists

Nominal Roll |
The Association Nominal Rolls and Obituary Lists have now been completely updated as at 1st January 2006. Future amendments will be entered as and when details are received. The Association Nominal roll shows the names of 11,531 Life Members and where the addresses of members is known they are posted to one of the Branches of the Association. Sadly 6,462 of the Life Members named have no known address and therefore they are not shown to be in one of the branches. Should any one of these "lDisplaced Grenadiers" be looking at this list you are urged to get in touch with the nearest Branch Secretary and "join up" It has been decided that because of the size of the Nominal Roll and Obituary List files it is more advantageous for down loading times to break the file down into smaller groups of letters. Obituary List |
Records of those members who have died since 1977 have been placed on a database and currently there are 3,923 names. The year of death shown on the list cannot be guaranteed to be correct as these are notified by Branch Secretaries and are published in the Grenadier Gazette annually in March/April. In a few cases the year of death is not shown at all. Click on letter(s) below to page for surnames starting with that letter: |

The Obituary List will be completly updated, in
conjunction with the Nominal Roll of the Association in mid January,
to take into account those Grenadiers whose Death has been notified
in the past twelve months. This means that their names have been
deleted from the Nominal Roll of the Association but it does
NOT mean that the Nominal Roll is updated with any new members
that may have joined the Association. This can only be done when
all Branches submit new branch rolls to the General Secretary
at the same time.
