From a Mrs Debra Bishop:
I would like you to pass on my e-mail address
Homdebra@aol.com to any former guards that new my late father-in-law, George Bishop, who died early this year. All I know about his army career is that he was a champion boxer for his regiment and that he served in Windsor.Germany and Malaya I think he was 1st Bn and his number was 2629014, he was from Aldershot, and he joined up in 1946, I have e-mailed the Guards Museum and his RHQ, for any information about him eg any photos of him in the ring, newspaper stories thing like that, but I just wondered if anybody remembered him and had anything about him. I'm doing this for my Mother-in-law for a kind of "this is your life book" about George, also I'm sure my husband, who was very close to his dad would like to know as well.
